2. Jesse's Final Fate, Which Can't Possibly Be Good
Many Breaking Bad fans were a nervous wreck about Jesse Pinkman's fate watching the final episode, but were happy to see him finally escape his torturers and speed off into the sunset. But should they be? A cursory look at Jesse's unlucky circumstances suggests not. Jesse will almost certainly get busted by the cops. He's covered in blood, manic and screaming, recklessly speeding down the street in a stolen car that belongs to a Nazi meth kingpin, who along with his entire crew has been slaughtered in their compound that also contains the corpse of another meth kingpin. Certainly the FBI and DEA can't be that far from his trail, as one of the few survivors in the sordid Heisenberg affair. It's already been established early in the series that Jesse's parents have completely disowned him, so he can't expect any help from them.He also has no money, having thrown his share of profits from his last cook randomly into people's yards. If he decides to avenge his girlfriend Andrea's death and sets off to collect her son Brock, there were certainly be questions to answer about his girlfriend's murder, and it's unlikely Brock's relatives would agree to having a raving meth head raising a child. If he chooses to lay low with Badger and Skinny Pete for a while, it seems like only a matter of time before they stumble into trouble. So it seems like Jesse's hard-won freedom is a victory, but he might be too emotionally damaged by his torturous past and his own unlucky circumstances to have any semblance of a normal life.
