Breaking Bad: 5 Loose Threads The Finale Left Hanging

3. Where Is The Rest Of Walt's Money? Will It Be Found?

Breaking Bad Buried Money Uncle Jack was about to let Walt know where his remaining barrels of cash were, before Walt quickly shot him in the face (in a clever throwback to "Ozymandias", both Hank and Jack were murdered while they were in the middle of a sentence) and thus ensured that location of his hard-earned drug money would remain a mystery. By that point, Walt was long past caring about the cash (as was Jesse) but there are plenty of others that would certainly be interested €“ we're talking about $70 million here. Perhaps it will be discovered when the industrial concern Madrigal sends agents to investigate the demise of their lucrative meth business. We didn't hear a peep from the mysterious European meth lords in the finale, but they certainly would not allow their supply chain of blue to remain broken for long. Most likely they would go on the hunt for Jesse (see #2) as he is the last remaining person who can cook to a Heisenberg level of purity, and would have knowledge of where the money could be hidden. Or, perhaps the money was stashed in the Nazi compound and was discovered when the police arrive, and taken into evidence. A nice touch of poetic justice would be to have it fund a large expansion to the DEA offices, in a wing dedicated to Hank Schraeder. Whatever the case may be, it doesn't seem possible that such a large sum of money can remain hidden for long. Perhaps Brock stumbles across it on a future hiking trip through the desert?

Hi there, What Culture-ers! I'm William Graff, a 40-year old freelance writer from the wilds of Capitol Hill in beautiful Denver, Colorado. I enjoy many things such as beer, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, record collecting, stand-up comedy, long aimless walks, and of course the Broncos, which is required by law if you live here. I appreciate all feedback for my writing, but I prefer cash and/or deleted Smiths singles in lieu of praise. Rock on!
