Breaking Bad: 8 Most Diabolical Heisenberg Moments

8. Ordering The Murder Of Gale Boetticher

Gale The death of poor Gale Boetticher in season three was perhaps the hardest to watch of all the murders committed throughout Breaking Bad's run, because Gale was one of the few innocent charters to die. Sure, he wasn't a saint, he did after all illegally cook crystal meth, but he never hurt or killed anyone, and when he met his end at the hands of Jesse, we all felt a pang of sadness. Walt, knowing Gale's continued presence as "back-uo meth cook" would lead to him being deemed surplus to requirements by Gustavo Fring and shot like a sick dog by Mike, coerced Jesse into assassinating Gale in cold blood. This effectively earned Walt a stay of execution because, with no one left to cook meth for Gustavo, Heisenberg was suddenly needed again, all at the expense of Gale.
