Breaking Bad: 8 Most Diabolical Heisenberg Moments

7. Murdering Mike

Breakingmike Mike's death was also difficult to watch, mostly because Jonathan Banks portrayed the ex-cop so well and earned a sense of endearment in fan's hearts in the process. In fact, at times, Mike was a more likable and interesting character than any of the show's protagonists, and he only played a supporting role, which says a lot. The biggest travesty of Mike's death however, Banks disappearing from our screen aside, was that it was totally unnecessary, thus making Walt's murder of him all the more diabolical. After refusing to divulge the list of "nine names" - the nine former associates of whom Walt fears will talk to the police - Heisenberg shoots Mike, before realising he could have just got the list off Lydia.
