Breaking Bad: 8 Things That Need To Happen In The Last 8 Episodes

2. More Back-Story Revealed

One of the great things about Breaking Bad is that it slowly releases the back-story of the characters, giving you information from their past as and when we need it so as to add context to their actions. For example, in the half season that has just finished we were given the nugget of information regarding Walt€™s exit from Grey Matter to explain why he was loath to leave the meth industry behind before his €˜Empire€™ was assembled. The show has left many issues in the character€™s pasts ambiguous and so therefore there are many threads that could be potentially explored in the final eight episodes. I for one would be interested to know more about how Gretchen and Walt€™s relationship broke down, or about why Walt detests his mother so much that he refuses to even visit her when he knows he is dying or about what happened in Gus Fring€™s past that meant the cartel were too scared to touch him. Each of these stories could potentially be told as parallels to the challenges that Walt is sure to face in this last season. I don€™t ask that all these mysteries be solved, indeed I love the ambiguity, but if they could be told within the context of the ongoing story then I would love this show even more than I already do€if that€™s possible.
