Breaking Bad: 8 Things That Need To Happen In The Last 8 Episodes

6. Walt Dies

Yes, I want to see the man I rooted for for at least a good three and a half seasons to meet his end. Even though it is somewhat predictable, I honestly can€™t see any other way for this show to finish. If Walt is left alive then I will always presume that he will €˜Macgyver€™ his way out of whatever trap he his left in at series end and that he will find a way back into the meth industry. I don€™t even need to see him die on screen, simply a shot of him totally dejected in a prison cell coughing his way to an early grave will be enough for me to know that the legend of Heisenberg ends with his death. Ideally though, it would be great to see Walt go out guns blazing (with the BFG he bought in the season five premiere) and for him to be taken down by either Jesse or Hank. Bizarrely, I can see this being the happiest possible ending for Walter White at this stage. His ego requires infamy, what better way for the notorious criminal to go out than in a high profile fire fight? Probably the saddest way for Walt to go would be with no recognition of his time as Heisenberg, for him to just be one of the many victims of cancer a year passing silently into the night, for him to be remembered by the general public as Walter White €“ mild mannered chemistry teacher. To be honest, that is probably all he deserves at this stage.
