Breaking Bad: 8 Things That Need To Happen In The Last 8 Episodes

7. Somebody (who deserves it) Gets A Happy Ending

Despite me wishing death on multiple characters on the list and also despite Breaking Bad being billed as a tragedy at heart, I do wish to see at least one character come away with a happy ending but only if they deserve it. There are plenty of potential candidates for this kind of ending. In an ideal world Jesse and Hank, as the show€™s current heroes would live to see the end, however they seem too closely tied to the €˜ticking time bomb€™ that is Walter White to get away unscathed. I would also hope for Holly and Walter Jnr to get a happy ending though I can€™t see Jnr being anything but scarred for life when he learns of his parent€™s illicit activities. Things aren€™t looking too good for Holly either if the pink bear outfit they keep dressing her up in is as foreboding as I believe it to be, plus €˜Chekhov€™s ricin€™ has to be consumed by somebody right? The women of the show don€™t look in line for a happy ending either, Skyler has broken bad and so should expect some karmic retribution and despite warming to Marie more in recent seasons she€™s still the psycho-klepto-sister-in-law who seems like easy cannon fodder for the upcoming Heisenberg v Schrader war. Thinking about it I can€™t see happy endings for anybody here, maybe Badger, Skinny Pete and Saul Goodman can make it out alive to carry on in their own spin-off sitcoms€
