Breaking Bad: 9 Things That Would Have Happened Next

1. Jesse Gets Away

Walter White/Heisenberg may have been the burning centre of this show, the flame that ignited it all, but Jesse is its beating heart. While we may have been divided over whether or not we wanted Walter to get caught, there was never any doubt that Jesse had to get away free. He'd already been through a lot of suffering, and deserved the chance to make something of his life.

That final shot of him, manically driving away and crying due to more emotions than you could fit into Pixar's Inside Out, was either a hopeful ending (if you're an optimist), or a worrying one (if you're the pessimistic sort). He was really just going to get a mile or two down the road, and then the cops would catch up, and he'd be facing a long stretch in prison, right?

Wrong. Choosing to be optimistic, I like to think that he managed to get away. Both Vince Gilligan and Aaron Paul have mentioned him being in Alaska, and you can totally see that happening. He lives in a remote place, making a steady living, surrounded by some beautiful scenery. Sometimes he'll take a walk, and look at wistfully over the the snowy backdrop, and for the briefest of moments he'll think about "Mr White", and how he's managed to make it out ok.

He doesn't have much, but he has his freedom, and that's enough.
