Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
18. Walter White Jr
The King of Breakfast himself, Walter White Jr (also known as Flynn) was the son of Walt and Skyler, a typical, loving teenager with cerebral palsy who was often caught between his mother's discontent and Walt's shady downward spiral.
There's a common complaint that Walt Jr is given much to do on the show, but this isn't entirely fair when you consider how important he is to the core drama. After all, he's the reason his father turns to meth cooking in the first place, and by the end of the show he comes to represent all the irreversible damage Walter has caused.
Walt Jr's request for his father to "just die already" solidifies Walter's fate, and acts as a harrowing reminder of how much pain he's inflicted on the world. It's hard to rewatch Jr's earlier scenes knowing where he ends up.
