Following the death of Jane, Jesse went on a bit of a downward spiral, and starting attending an addicts recovery group, where he bumped into troubled but endearing single mother Andrea.

One of the show's most genuinely good souls, Andrea's relationship with Jesse is far superior to his short-lived romance with Jane, since it relies on more than just drugs and money, and her attempts to right her life after years of wrong turns only helps make it that much more touching.

She ends up somewhat side lined later in the show, but between her subtle growth and harrowing death, Andrea is a tough character to hate, and an even harder one to forget.
