Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

24. Steve Gomez

Breaking Bad Saul Goodman Bob Odenkirk
AMC

Steve Gomez appears in more episodes of Breaking Bad than any other recurring character, rarely leaving Hank's side as his incredibly loyal DEA partner and confidant.

Always there to lend a hand and offer a sarcastic quip, he's a joy to have around, especially when Hank goes through some of his more life-changing clashes with the show's various villains.

There's a sense, as the show goes on, that Gomez isn't receiving the development he really deserves, which often makes him come across as a forgettable, one-note cop. But even so, his dry wit and undying loyalty makes him a welcome sight whenever he crops up in the show's darkest drama.
