7. Jonathan Banks
Like the rest of Breaking Bad's older cast members, Jonathan Banks had a long and varied career before being cast in the show, but even so his turn as Mike Ehrmantraut is sure to be the role he'll be remembered for.
Originally playing Frank McPike in the seminal TV drama Wiseguys, Banks also had roles in films like Airplane!, 48 Hrs, Beverly Hills Cop and Gremlins.
Since leaving Breaking Bad, the actor has returned to his role as Mike in the series Better Call Saul, this time playing an even more prominent role in Gilligan's story. He also had a memorable guest role in the sitcoms Community and F Is For Family.
Banks has made sure to keep busy with a variety of striking TV guest spots, but since 2008 has been more than happy playing Breaking Bad's resident fixer, a role for which he's been nominated for four Emmys and is set to reprise in Better Call Saul's final season.
