8. Skyler White
Skyler White is easily the most divisive of the show's main characters. The loving wife of Walt, she was at once a supportive mother and wife, and a character unable to make up her mind about how to deal with her new life. First separating from Walt due his weird, unexplained behaviour, she soon learned about his duel life as Heisenberg and began helping him with his money laundering.
During her time aiding her on-again off-again husband, Skyler began getting a kick out of her place in Walt's empire, until Walt's mental state began to slip further and further and she realised she and her kids were in danger with him around.
Manipulative, conflicted and brought to life by a striking, emotive performance from Anna Gunn, Skyler was one of the show's most complex figures, a woman thrust into a life she never wanted and changed by the secrets that surrounded her and her family. She may have had moments where she seemed unlikable and even inconsistent, but she was nonetheless a great addition to the show.
