Breaking Bad: Each Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Walt White Jr (Flynn)

Breaking Bad
AMC

The teenage son of Walt and Skyler, Walt Jr (or Flynn, as he preferred to be called) suffers in much the same way as Marie, being a character who is always present to allow those around him time to develop, but not really changing much himself along the way. His most interesting trait through the show was how often he was seen eating breakfast, and though this meant his screen time and plot importance wasn't much to be desired, it did allow for one very subtle, very effective moment.

Throughout the show, Flynn had watched his family dissolve around him, seeing his father become increasingly unhinged and distant and his mother beaten down by the events surrounding them. In the final season, it is Flynn's disownment of his father that seals the fate of Walter White, making it clear to audiences that the cancer-ridden drug lord was doomed, with nothing to lose.

He may not have been the most pivotal character in the show, but he was low-key its most tragic.

Aidan Whatman hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
