6. What Became Of Saul?
Is it just us, or was it actually pretty disappointing that Bob Odenkirk's Saul Goodman character didn't make a single appearance in the finale? One of the more likable characters throughout the show's long run, Saul was last seen in the penultimate episode 'Granite State', as Walt's bunk-buddy in the basement of the "Extractor's" vacuum repair shop/hide-out. Walt tried to force Saul into leaving with him but his coughing fit led to the dodgy lawyer's final line "It's over" as he departed to Nebraska with a new identity to apparently live out a new life. It would have been nice for 'Felina' to have at least made some sort of passing reference to the Saul Goodman character and though he is going to get
his own spin-off show, that's going to be a prequel and we feel as though Saul's fate was therefore unresolved.
