The story of mild mannered, unassuming Walter White, diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer, and his descent into the criminal underworld as he attempts to achieve financial security for his family just resonated with people from the get-go. It exploded almost overnight. The narrative was borderline perfect, with some iconic pacing, direction and cinematography to boot. The show kicked ass. Bryan Cranston finally achieved status as a respected actor, Vince Gilligan became so much more than 'that guy who did a pile of X-Files episodes' and the careers of so many others were launched and rekindled in the process. But at a hefty 5 seasons, it's a lot to sit down to watch, and if you haven't yet seen it, it's quite a daunting wall to climb, especially when literally everyone has been talking about it for the last 6 or 7 years. Most people who haven't seen Breaking Bad will know that it's pretty much the same as The Wire in the respect that you can only blag your way through a conversation about it for a few minutes, before people quickly realise you know very little about the show at all, so with that in mind, we decided to take all 5 seasons of Breaking Bad and boil them down into 60 seconds.
