7. Hank Discovers Walt
It's surely the dominant mystery that has pervaded the show since day one, even more so than the initial tension of Skyler discovering Walt's secret. It is DEA agent Hank's rumbling of Walt that could - and likely would - bring the house of cards down for Walt and his drug operation. Hank has been so close for so long now, with a few notable close calls for Walt, that it would feel like a cop-out if Hank never cottoned on; it would be like Deborah never finding out that her half-brother is a serial killer in
Dexter. My personal prediction is that Hank will find out - or it will be revealed that he has known for a little while - at the end of episode 8, as this is when the lengthy mid-season break would occur, leaving us close to a year to ponder the revelation. What Hank would do with the information, however, is another question altogether, and I imagine for the sake of Skyler and Walt Jr, he might end up not turning him in, maybe as he realises that Walt's days are numbered anyway.
