6. Walt Goes Out, Grand Theft Auto-Style
In the first episode of Season 5, Walt buys a car with a very powerful gun in the trunk, one that comes with its own instructions manual (one of the more comical moments of the season). I must admit, the first thing that I thought of when I saw the gun was the possibility of Walt going out like he just played Grand Theft Auto for 8 hours and wanted to go out with a bang, so to speak. He is reckless at the diner, more reckless than he has been in recent memory. While he has a fake drivers license from New Hampshire, which covers his identity from the waitress at the diner, he takes the risk of seemingly leaving his former car, with a New Hampshire license plate, in the diners parking lot. That indicates that he might not necessarily care about covering his tracks quite as much anymore if anything happens, and the car is left in the lot for too long, the waitress could potentially ID Walt. So, maybe Walt is looking for a way out, and that way will come with a rooftop killing spree that racks up 6 stars.
