Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 10 Best Halloween Heist Moments
6. All Hail King Terry (Cinco De Mayo)
Terry
Jeffords is one of the greatest assets the 99th precinct has ever
boasted. He is an exemplary leader and a loyal follower, as strong in the field
as he is behind a desk, and he eventually went on to become Captain once Ray Holt
moved on.
However, this didn’t stop the character from becoming the butt of far too many jokes, and rarely actually being taken seriously. The first Halloween Heist not to take place on Halloween was where he could finally stand up and be counted among the rest of the squad.
It was as ridiculous a heist as ever, with Rosa even saying that literally nothing new could happen, but Terry still had his moment. Painted like a giant gold Oscar, he shocked his team in an empty exam room after years of wanting nothing to do with the heist. Heists are dumb after all, but not when he could win it.
The usual reveal was as fun as ever, with Bill and Kevin adding to it each in their own way, but as it was Terry it felt even better. One of the most disrespected characters in the show finally got the respect he deserved, or at least some way towards it.
