From the moment that Pimento entered Brooklyn Nine-Nine, he was a sudden surge of intense energy. The man's time working deep undercover caused him a tonne of emotional damage, and the show played this for both laughs and commentary.

If there's one thing that Brooklyn Nine-Nine does to stand out amongst its peers, it's delivering a progressive attitude and focussing on topical issues. Thanks to this, the series has become acclaimed for its honest and thoughtful representations of race, gender, and mental health.

Everyone is desperate to see Pimento find the stability that he needs, as whenever he's brought into the show, it seems that his life is continuing to spiral. Because of the series' progressive views, it would be significantly out of character for them to leave the unstable and troubled Adrian Pimento behind without giving him a satisfying conclusion.

The writers need to finally show Adrian settling down and finding a way out of his dangerous habits. Seeing him seek help and genuinely improve wouldn't just be a great message about mental health, but also a fan-pleasing moment that could make one of the most outlandish characters in the series finally get a happy ending.
