Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 10 TV Characters Who Would Make A Great Assistant To Captain Holt

6. Erin Hannon

At the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin on the American version of The Office, it was a completely different story. Michael Scott was the manager there. While he was almost as clueless as David Brent, he certainly tried a lot harder to be a better person than him. Michael genuinely cared about his staff. He just had a weird way of showing it at times.

One of the staff he bonded the closest with was Erin Hannon, Pam's replacement at the receptionist position. Erin was a lot less cynical than Pam was, though just as smart. In her own way, she was as clueless, endearing and enthusiastic as Michael, which is probably why they developed a father/daughter bond so quickly.

Erin would be a no brainer hire for Holt as she has plenty of experience as a receptionist and as an assistant. She might not seem like the right fit for that kind of environment but Erin is deceptively tough. She would keep the 99 in line and running smoothly.
