Of Brooklyn Nine-Nine's main ensemble, Terry Crews' portrayal of Terry Jeffords has made for a sublime journey thus far.
While not always as prominent a character on the show in the same vein as a Jake Peralta or an Amy Santiago, Terry's work is always on consistently excellent form, with his unique and often eccentric brand of comedy gifting a different layer that's benefitted the show through its (thus far) seven seasons. He bounces off his fellow cast members to deliver the best performance he can.
As the series nears its end, this becomes further evident for diehard fans rewatching the past seven seasons for the millionth time. You greatly appreciate Terry Crews as an actor, and Terry Jeffords as a character, whether you're realising this for the first or fiftieth time.
The series must end with Terry following in Holt's footsteps as Captain while the latter leaves the 99th Precinct to become Commissioner. Until then, there's never been a greater time to reflect on Terry Jeffords' work throughout the previous 143 episodes. What are his daughter's names? What's his favourite yoghurt flavour? How long has he been working in the police industry?
