Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The WORST THINGS That EVERY Main Character Has Done

Finally, on to everybody's favourite character - Jake Peralta. The only thing this man loves more than Die Hard and embracing his immature side is locking up bad guys. Although Jake has matured a lot since the start of the show, he hasn't lost touch of his childish charm which makes him such a lovable detective/genius.

However, there are often times where his immature ways lead him and everyone else into a mountain of trouble and, in one case, almost ruined the marriage of Captain Holt and Kevin.

In season 2 episode 16 titled The Wednesday Incident, Holt is in a terrible mood. Presumably brought on by Jake for setting off the sprinkler system with a champagne cork (classic Peralta). Desperate to prove that he isn't the source of Holt's anger, Jake spies on his Captain to see what could have caused it.

During his investigation, he enlists Kevin to help him out when they discover that Holt had not only been mugged and stabbed, but that he had been lying to Kevin about attending regular fencing lessons.

In a selfish attempt to clear his own name, Jake recklessly meddled in Holt's life and caused some serious friction in his marriage.
