Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The WORST THINGS That EVERY Main Character Has Done
2. Terry Jeffords - Gets Drunk At Ex-Captain's Funeral
Sergeant Terry Jeffords is as caring as he is muscly. He's always on hand to help out his team no matter how big or small the favour and is the first to stand up to Captain Holt whenever the time calls for it.
Although he is commendable for speaking out when the moment arises, his speech at his ex-captain's funeral was not one of those moments. In this scene, Terry gets a little over excited and totally embarrasses himself and the family of the deceased.
In season three episode two titled The Funeral, the squad attend the funeral of Captain Dozerman. At the wake, Holt is struggling with a PR crisis and Terry steps in to brainstorm ideas. In order to get the creative juices flowing, Terry overindulges on bad decision juice and ends up completely drunk.
Spurred on by his Dutch courage, Terry gives a totally inappropriate speech comparing Dozerman's death to the tragedy of the discontinuation of his favourite flavour of yoghurt (3:01 in the video).
Although this scene is Terry's funniest in the whole of season three, it is incredibly uncomfortable and, without a doubt, the most insensitive thing anyone could do at a funeral.
