Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appear In One Episode

4. Sweet (Season 6, Episode 7)

‘Once More, With Feeling’ is a classic piece of television and one of the best episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Along with the rest of Sunnydale, the central characters spontaneously burst into song, disclosing their innermost feelings in the form of musical numbers. For most of the episode, the characters have no idea why this is happening. But they eventually discover that a demon called Sweet – who was summoned via Xander’s use of a magical talisman – is behind it all.

Unlike most villains, Sweet doesn’t actually turn up until midway through the episode, but he certainly makes his mark upon the audience. Dressed in a slick suit and tie, he shows off his dance moves at the Bronze with the help of his masked minions. He also delivers some cracking lines during his vocal performances and has plenty of great dialogue too.

Even if he is the bad guy, you can’t help but love Sweet. As well as being terrifically entertaining, he’s one of the most charismatic villains in the show.
