Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Characters You Totally Forgot Existed
Over 144 Buffy episodes we met a LOT of great characters. Here are some you totally forgot existed.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an iconic show, full of iconic characters. Of course, we all know the main Scoobies, but there were a LOT of characters in the background (and some even in the foreground) that we totally forgot about.
Looking back, some of these characters should have been more memorable judging by the actors who played them; at the time they were relatively unknown, but some of these supporting went on to big things. For others, they were just small parts who didn't really make the most of their big moment and flew under the radar.
While some characters were just generally forgettable, there were others who we would have loved to see stick around but they were killed off or left too soon. In this list, we'll explore some of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's best forgotten characters.
10. Hunt

Hunt was a student at UC Sunnydale who featured in Beer Bad (Season Four, Episode Five.) He and his fellow students, along with Buffy, drank enchanted beer, which made them revert into Neanderthals.
Karl Penn played Hunt in the episode. Penn also appeared in the Buffy spin-off, Angel. In that series, he appeared in the Season Three episode, That Vision Thing.
Aside from these two appearances, Penn is best known for appearing in major US shows, including House, 24 and How I Met Your Mother. He also appeared in popular films like Harold and Kumar.
Sadly, Penn's guest role in the episode is always forgotten because most fans consider Beer Bad a definite skip. It's a ridiculous episode which, if you've seen it once, you don't need to see it again. However, the underlying message of the dangers of drinking is one we can all relate to. Remember to drink responsibly...or you might become a cave person.
