9. Eddie

Eddie was another character from Season Four. He appeared in the first episode when he bumped into Buffy while lost on campus. Eddie's character seemed to be a dorky ally for the Slayer and, after his introduction, we expected him to be a new recurring character.

After leaving Buffy, Eddie was attacked by the vampire Sunday. Following the attack, a forged letter had been placed in Eddie's dorm that claimed he left because he couldn't handle the stress. In reality, he had been sired by Sunday and turned into a vampire. It wasn't long until Buffy ran into him and dusted him, ending his character's story forever.

Eddie was played by none other than Pedro Pascal. Y'know, Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones, Din Djarin from The Mandalorian and Joel in the upcoming The Last of Us adaptation from HBO.

Pascal's Eddie is a character who deserved better. We should have got to know him more. Sadly, for all of us, Eddie was taken too soon.
