Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Worst Characters Who Appeared After Season One

1. Adam

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Veruca
Mutant Enemy

With the possible exception of Season 6, every season has a Big Bad. And –  without a doubt – Adam is the worst Big Bad in the show's history.

Even before he opens his mouth, it's hard to take him seriously. As a bio-mechanical demonoid, Adam is an amalgamation of different body parts that have been stuck together by the Initiative. Far from being intimidating, he looks like a rejected Power Rangers villain.

And then there's the dialogue. Adam delivers his lines in a monotonous, semi-robotic drawl – it's impossible not to switch off whenever he starts talking. To make matters worse, his evil scheme isn't particularly interesting, either: he just wants to create more bio-mechanical demonoids like himself.

It's a shame Adam is such a laughable villain. If Professor Walsh had been the Big Bag instead, Season 4 could have been up there with the show's best seasons.
