Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Every Major Relationship Ranked Worst To Best

12. Willow & Kennedy

Willow's third and last major romance came in the form of potential Slayer Kennedy, who by most fans calculations might be the worst character to ever grace the series (and, truly, she is).

Whilst the writing around the pairing is actually better than you might recall, injecting a genuine feeling of love and care between them by the end of the show's final season, the main issue with their relationship comes from how hard to accept it is.

Before Kennedy, Willow had been in a relationship with both Oz and Tara - two of the most innocent and kind-hearted characters on the show - and their bonds had taken a long time to build-up, making their romance all the more exciting.

With Kennedy, though, there was no development, and given how far removed from Willow's previous partner's she was, it was hard to take Kennedy seriously as her girlfriend. Following Tara was always going to be hard, but this wasn't the way to go.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
