Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Every Major Relationship Ranked Worst To Best

10. Willow & Xander

What Willow and Xander had in the early days of Buffy never really developed past hormone-driven high school crush, but it shaped much of the pair's development and personal growth.

Friends since they were kids, Willow and Xander had a mutual attraction to each other in the show's second and third seasons, which constantly threatened to become a real romance before other partners and world-ending catastrophes got in the way.

Admittedly good together on an emotional level, their feelings eventual ruined their relationships with Oz and Cordelia, before being indefinitely swept under the rug. It was short-lived, but was ultimately for the best.

In another life, they would have made a great couple, but in the big world of Buffy they were much better as friends.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
