Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Ranking The Main Characters From Weakest To Strongest

Introduced in Season 4, Riley Finn (Marc Blucas) was part of The Initiative, a top-secret organisation that hunted and experimented on demons. Once fed pills that made him stronger than the average man, Riley was a highly trained fighter, tracker and soldier. Even once he was taken off the drugs, though, he was still able to hold his own against an entire vampire nest and the various demons that came across him and his friends.

His skills nowhere near that of a Slayer, he often ends up feeling inadequate and weak compared to Buffy, always desperate to prove his worth as his storyline goes on.

Perhaps his best feat of skill and fighting ability comes in Season 4, when Angel (David Boreanaz) comes back to Sunnydale, an event which leads to the pair coming to blows. Though Riley eventually finds himself outmatched by the vampire, he puts up a decent fight and proves he's not shy of knowing how to handle himself when the situation calls for it.
