Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Ranking The Main Characters From Weakest To Strongest
5. Anya Jenkins
Anya Jenkins (Emma Caulfield) is almost as unassuming as Oz. With the appearance of your average high schooler when she's first introduced in season three, it's quickly established she's much more than meets the eye. Anya is a vengeance demon, after all, and that comes with a lot of benefits.
As a vengeance demon, she is able to alter the very fabric of reality by granting wishes to scorned women. In her first appearance, she creates an entire alternate reality in which Buffy never came to Sunnydale and The Master (Mark Metcalf) succeeded in his plans for local domination.
She loses her powers for a while there, where she proves she can still fight. During the final battle against the First Evil, for example, she holds off and kills numerous Bringers and uber-vamps, though she eventually meets her end.
Her most impressive feat comes in Season 7, when she finds herself as a demon once more and is forced to go toe-to-toe with Buffy; a fight which is, for the most part, fairly even, until Buffy gets the upper hand.
Pretty impressive for someone who's scared of bunnies.
