With the previous clue in tow, it is a statement by Matt Nix which sheds further light on the death of one of the central characters.

Speaking of his potential new show, a medical drama called Complications, he moved on to express an interest in pursuing a Burn Notice spinoff movie or potential series focusing on the characters of Jesse Porter and Sam Axe.

He is looking to possibly make a series about Jesse...and Sam! Which means surely, unless it is a case of an inspired red herring, that it shall be Michael Westen whom will die. In this way it would be a fitting end for Michael to sacrifice his own life to save his friends. But for the truth, we will just have to wait and see what come from the final episode.
