Casting HBO's Green Lantern Corps

Oscar Isaac's appearances in everything from Star Wars to the recent (and admittedly otherwise bland) Triple Frontier showcased his penchant for playing a slightly more nuanced action hero. In addition, his roles in the likes Operation Finale and Life Itself showed that he is also brilliant at displaying emotion - something that would integral for a superhero whose entire power set is based around the emotional spectrum.

Thinking about it, he would probably make for a pretty good Kyle Rayner too.

These previous performances have demonstrated that Isaac's skills suit a wide variety of tones; therefore he would fit any incarnation of Jordan that the writers went for, whether that be Geoff Johns' MCU-esque level of comedy or Grant Morrison's serious space-cop seen in 2018's Green Lantern comic.

Consider that Isaac is soon to be finished with Disney with the release of Episode IX, and DC have no excuse not to snatch him up.
