3. Zelda Spellman
The beauty of Zelda Spellman is that she's a character with whom you don't necessarily see the development taking place - even though it always does. All throughout the first season, she maintained that firm protector visage that was unphased by anything around her. On the inside, however, she was questioning her Dark Lord, hiding her ambitions to be greater and regretting how cruel she once was to her own sister.
That continued throughout Part 3, as Zelda finally achieved the greatness she had been waiting for - ascending to the role of High Priestess. This presented her with the chance to resurrect and reform the Church of Night while also protecting it against the threat of the Pagans.
From stopping at nothing to resurrect Hilda to opening up to Mambo Marie, Zelda was a lot more in touch with her feelings this time around - and her journey to opening her mind (and her heart) was nothing short of phenomenal.
