5. The Pagans Are Dead

While the overarching threat of the Dark Lord himself was very much present in Part 3, it was the Pagans who served as the main antagonists this time around. Using their ancient magic, these 'Old Gods' attempted to overrun the town of Greendale with their Green Man (a giant ancient tree) and turn its residents into vicious zombified husks.

However, in spite of their quick rise to power, Sabrina led her coven to victory when the team of witches, warlocks and mortals banded together to topple the Pagans. They were successful in doing so, killing them as they fled - saving Greendale and themselves once more.

Though the season has been split into two parts, it's pretty clear that this is the end of the Pagan storyline, so don't expect them to be popping up in Part 4. That said, it has opened the door for other, perhaps greater, threats as Faustus Blackwood continues to allow his vendetta against the Spellmans to drive him.
