Hilda's transformation into the spider creature may have been one of the more unnerving storylines of the season, but it also provided viewers with a number of the show's most powerful emotional punches.

There was a solid portion of time there that the writers had us convinced that she had unwillingly killed her fiancee when forced to give into the desires of her new nature, but thankfully the closing moments reversed that decision, as the web-covered wonder was alive all of this time.

As the narrative was something of an odd one, fans have been left wondering if that's really the end of things. Why, after all, was Cerberus wrapped up in webbing for no apparent reason?

With that in mind, could we see him evolve into something more in the next part, or will these two finally get the happiness that they deserve?
