Though their life up to where we see them today has been radically different from one another, Daniel and Johnny are startlingly alike in a number of ways.

As they both enter their middle-aged years they've began to find common ground, and the pockets of harmony between the pair makes for some of the series' best moments. A truce between teenage rivals was teased in the recent season 3 trailer, and the possibility of showrunners following up on the breadcrumbs that the previous season teased is an exciting thought.

With Johnny now dojo-less as the former sensei was usurped by Kreese, a viable way to shock the audience in a way that also seamlessly fits the story would be to have Lawrence look to Miyagi-Do for guidance. Daniel's school was always about spiritual balance, and the serenity found in Mr Miyagi's backyard could be the perfect way for Johnny to rediscover his fighting spirit following a crushing season 2 finale for the character.

It's not a huge stretch to think Johnny's journey towards the light could pass through Miyagi-Do, reuniting with a handful of his former students, only this time learning their way of the fist, with no cobras in sight.
