Veronica Mars was the cult TV show that gave Kristen Bell her major breakthrough, but it wasn't a huge hit ratings wise, though they were improving at the time of cancellation.

As with any cult series, though, it had a legion of die-hard fans, and that fanbase only continued to grow the longer it was on their air. That led to the Kickstarter film, which broke records for how quickly it reached its goal. It was released in 2014 to strong reviews, but didn't do much at the box-office, and that may have been that.

However, speaking with TV Line at Comic-Con, Bell gave hope for more Veronica Mars, and this time back on TV: "We are definitely striving to do it again, and I think the idea that's bouncing around at the moment is some sort of mini-series that we can put on a platform that would have us."

Sounds like a job for Netflix.
