Before diving too deep into the mystery that is Professor P. Professorson, it is important to know that he does not actually exist. In the pursuit of an easy blow-off credit Jeff Winger made up a fake independent study class on conspiracy theories. Dean Pelton called out Winger on this instance of slacking and made him prove the validity of his class. Much to the surprise of everyone, including Winger, a real Professor Professorson emerged to substantiate the existence of the study. Annie Edison joined Jeff to figure out what was really going on as they discovered that Professorson's real last name was Woolley. He invented an entire fictional catalogue of Greendale night courses to cover up that he too once invented a night course. Two fictional classes that he made up were "History of Something" and "Studyology." As the rabbit hole was explored even deeper, Woolley turned out to be yet another fake identity as the mystery professor in reality was drama teacher Sean Garrity. The truth finally was revealed to all parties via a series of intense swerves involving multiple gun shots by, thankfully, all prop guns. Professor P. Professorson ultimately was Sean Garrity and he is one of Greendale's best teachers because of his contributions to a lesson on friendship...or lying...or prop gun safety. It actually gets really convoluted by the end.
