2. Virtual Systems Analysis (S3, E16)
Yet another episode from season 3 (it was a good season). Virtual Systems Analysis stands out as one of the episodes that focuses heavily on Abed and Annie, and it's a brilliant episode. Perhaps it's because the two share some sense of innocence within the show that seeing them act off one another feels very natural. Regardless, this is a great episode showcasing their talents. The plot essentially boils down to Abed being worried that Annie is playing matchmaker for Troy and Britta, with the ulterior motive of taking Jeff for herself. Annie denies this, but nevertheless needs to try and convince Abed that he doesn't need to worry about being alone if Troy and Britta hit it off. The episode takes place almost entirely in the 'Dreamtorium', featuring various imaginary moments shared by Annie and Abed. At its core, it also tells a heart-warming message. A great episode.
