2. Major Plot Overhaul
Season four finished out by showing us Jeff Winger and Pierce Hawthorne graduating, with the five remaining Greendale 7 just shy of reaching the same goal. While Pierce decides to finally move on, Jeff promises the study group he will remain nearby Greendale and visit as often as possible. So what does this mean for the show? I have literally no idea. Will season 5 pick up where the fourth left off? Or will it fast forward a little while and feature the remaining students also having graduated? If so, will they find ways to remain at Greendale (for instance, Shirley's sandwich shop, Troy being their air-conditioner repairman?) or will they have moved on? We have no idea! This is an exciting time for Community. The writers could take it nearly anywhere, and it would still fit! The sky is the limit for season five, ladies and gentlemen.
