Annie and Abed’s friendship is one of the more endearing relationships in all of Community. They get on great, share an obsession with being control freaks, are clearly low-key attracted to each other (who can forget that kiss during the second paintball competition) and they even share a secret handshake with each other.
Although it’s unclear as to whether they would actually be good life partners for real and whether actual forays into a full on romance would ever work between them, it was great to see how good at being just friends they were during the course of the six seasons (and a movie… right? We can hold out hope!!).
It’s been well said that the actors who portray Annie and Abed (Alison Brie and Danny Pudi respectively), shared a real life friendship on set and that chemistry was naturally translated over to the show.
