Community: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best
1. Abed
TROY AND ABED IN THE TOP TWO!
At number one is the latter half of Troy and Abed in the morning, the architect of the Dreamatorium, and the heart and soul of Community. Abed Nadir, played by Danny Pudi, embodies everything that makes the show special. He's weird, but has a tender side. He communicates through his pop culture knowledge. And he's funny as hell.
Abed's funniest jokes come in the form of his extremely meta belief that he and his friends exist as the cast of a sitcom about Community college. The irony is that, of course, he's right, but his friends don't see it that way and dismiss Abed as crazy. Still, he insists each year of their life is a "season" and each of their adventures is an "episode."
Much of Abed's charm comes in the form of his friendships. Of course, his relationship with Troy is hilarious and endearing all at once, but he also has some incredible friendship moments with Annie, Jeff, and pretty much everyone else. Without Abed, there would be no study group, and no Community.
Hopefully, we'll get to see Abed and the rest of the cast again soon in the rumoured Community movie.
