Community: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

With a plethora of hilarious outfits, a knack for entering the study room at the least opportune moments, and a tenDEANcy to insert his name in regular words, Dean Craig Pelton works as the man who runs the weird world of Greendale. He's hilariously stupid, which makes sense since nothing in his school works the way it's supposed to.

A recurring character in the first few seasons before joining the main cast, the Dean eventually befriends the study group, leading to a laugh out loud crush on Jeff, a heavy display of favouritism, and some self invitations to wherever the group is going. Actor Jim Rash does a wonderful job playing the human embodiment of the phrase "what the hell is going on?"

Though he sometimes comes across as over the top, the writers leave him out of a few episodes, even after Rash is promoted to series regular, to balance it out.
