Community: Ranking Every Season Finale Worst To Best
Some of Community's finales "pop-popped", but others didn't!

Closing out a season can often be a very challenging task. You've got to make sure you send the audience home happy but also leave enough open to keep them wanting more. Naturally, this creates a wide array of results, and Community is one such show that goes from high to low with their final episodes.
As a series, Community is regarded as one of the most underappreciated sitcoms of its time. The show's creativity knew no bounds as Dan Harmon's ability to come up with wild and goofy scenarios constantly kept the viewers on their toes, leading to some of the most exciting TV outings in comedy.
When it came to the tail end of each season, you can see where the quality dipped. Each finale did a good job of bringing the previous year's events to a close, but sometimes they weren't as exciting, funny or creative.
By ranking each of these final episodes from worst to best, we can see what made Community such a strong show and the failures that led to it filtering out towards the end of its run.
6. Advanced Introduction To Finality (Season Four)

It shouldn't come as a big surprise to Community fans that the climax of "the gas leak year" falls to the bottom of this list. This one hurts as there was so much potential in bringing the darkest timeline into the canon of the series. But, like a lot of season four, it ended up feeling like a jumbled mess.
In this episode, Jeff is offered a job at his old partner's law firm and chooses to graduate early, despite his reservations about leaving the group. Then, the evil study group from the darkest timeline invades to destroy the good timeline.
There are a few plus points thanks to the development of Jeff's character, but ultimately this episode is all over the place. The evil characters are fun and all but feel very forced, making their involvement come across like misguided fan service. Plus, the insertion of a loose paintball theme was shallow and lazy.
It's got a lot of the right elements to it, but the lack of passion (seeing as Harmon wasn't involved in this season) made this finale feel more like a paint-by-numbers "Community" episode than something with soul.
