5. Redefining Britta'd

YahooYahooNobody in the group has taken more abuse than Britta - often the foil, her name became synonymous with screwing up. Despite the lack of respect she received from her friends, Britta would never relent, often fighting for the things she believes in even if she didn't really understand the things she believed in. So when the Dean decided to throw (another) school dance with a Sadie Hawkins theme, Britta (in an attempt to fight against the seemingly dated and sexist Sadie Hawkins term) decided to throw a Sophie B. Hawkins dance, and after realising that she meant Susan B. Anthony, decided to commit to the mid-90's rock/pop theme to try and save herself from further embarrassment, even going so far to invite Sophie B. Hawkins herself. When it looked like the dance was going to fall apart and Britta would once again feel the sting of failure, Sophie B. Hawkins showed up to play her two recognisable songs. Jeff, frustrated at the prospect of Britta actually succeeding at something and ruining his good time, learned that Pierce orchestrated Hawkins' arrival and then chastised Winger for his treatment of the group's whipping girl. In a moment of empathy, Jeff wrote a touching text to Britta while watching her dance, and giving Britta'd a whole new meaning. Key Line: "I know it's probably impossible to read my texts without them sounding sarcastic, but I assure you, this one is as earnest as they come. Congratulations on an awesome dance. You Britta'd the hell out of this thing." - Jeff Winger
