5. Faye Windass and Cyber Bullying
Last week, viewers saw Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) become the victim of a cyber bullying campaign. It all started when doting adoptive mother Anna discovered the youngster playing truant from school. Faye managed to fob her mother off with a line about having an upset stomach, but when two schoolgirls later approached her, and remarked that she smelt funny before throwing chips at her, the real reason for her skiving quickly became apparent. Her bullies then cruelly pointed out that Anna isn't Faye's real mum. Later, Faye went online, and saw that one of the girls had commented underneath a photo of her and Anna: "Faye and her 'Mum', HA HA HA" Not wanting to face the bullies, Faye then refused to go to Simon Barlow's birthday party, and later received a text message reading "everyone says you smell". Afterwards, Faye ventured outside, and came face to face with her smirking tormentors, before smashing her own phone against a wall in a bid to stop the cruel messages. Later this week, Anna tries to get headmaster Brian to deal with the bullying campaign against her daughter, but will he take it seriously, or will Faye's tormentors persist?
