Crisis On Infinite Earths: 36 Easter Eggs, Cameos And References You Probably Missed

36. Batman (1989)

The CW

The Crisis' prologue took us on an ever-so-brief trip throughout the multiverse in order to give us an idea of just how many earths there were. The first of them came in the form of a reference to Tim Burton's classic 1989 film, Batman, as Earth-89 introduced itself with the establishing shot of Gotham City from the aforementioned film.

It was then accompanied by Danny Elfman's instantly recognisable score and even featured a cameo from Robert Wuhl who portrayed the intrepid reporter Alexander Knox in the film.

No better way to start the most iconic superhero crossover of all time than with a reference to one of the most iconic superhero movies of all time, right?
