With the fate of the multiverse hanging in the balance, it made sense that the big guns were called in - and with that, Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel flew his way back onto our screens (with Lois by his side).

Involved in pretty much all of the major battles, the Kryptonian warrior brought the necessary fire power but his greatest moment was undoubtedly the showdown in the sky he had with Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come Superman.

It was great to see Tyler's Supes again, especially as he's about to headline his own CW series, but for that reason alone you'd be forgiven for expecting him to have been given just a little more to do here.
